Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. The album Satisfied was released in 2007. The singer-songwriter formed the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows her previous album. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she released The Blade. This album has earned her fame and acclaim. Ashley Monroe holds a position as the Assistant Village Manager for Riverside Illinois. She has fifteen years' experience working in the public sector including nearly five-year time working in Iowa City. In her role as the Assistant Village Director she manages The Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating grant applications and finishing special projects. Ashley assists in the everyday administration of Riverside's services, as well as in the implementation of elected officials' and community visions. Ashley's previous roles included municipal planning, communications for government and budgeting. She also managed personnel as well as collective negotiations. Additionally, she was involved in the climate change issue. Ashley's participation in National organizations and working with different communities populations has given her insight into the differences and similarities between how different public organizations operate.
