Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. Her first appearance was in soap operas such as One Life to Live and Guiding Light. In later seasons, she was in various supporting roles. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 at The Bronx New York United States. Navedo first began acting professionally in daytime dramas. From 1995 to 1997 she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. Then, in 1999, she changed her name to Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. The actress began her career as a film actress with a role in Girl 6 (1996), and later, she was a part of the episodes New York Undercover (1997) as well as The District. Navedo played as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the year after. Navedo was a recurring character on the NBC Crime Series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages was the next episode and Blue Bloods. Navedo appeared in a number of movies including El Cantante (The Cantante) and Remember Me. Navedo was also a regular characters on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! is a film where Navedo was the lead. The Fast and the Furious films were parodied in the 2015 movie. Navedo started her acting career with the daytime soap operas. From 1995 to 1997, Navedo played Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. She began her CBS role on Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was in a small role on Girl 6 (1996). She then guest-starred on seasons of New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take (2001), an action comedy.
