Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983 in Anaheim California. Her first job following school was as an agent for real estate. Tarek was to be her husband. They enjoyed great success through 2008, but then the market plummeted and many house flippers and real estate investors went under. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa lost nearly everything because of the 2008 stock market collapse. They had to move from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 per month, to a modest apartment which cost only $700. Their company, as well as the economy as a whole, gradually recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to help him make the HGTV audition tape which showed his and Christina flipping a house from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions executive received this tape. The executives fell in love Tarek Christina. The contract was signed by the couple with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, Between 2013 until 2017, the show ran 92 episodes in seven seasons. In the show, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically homes with a moderate income located in Orange County, and would later spend a few weeks making upgrades so they could sell the home for profits. Tarek's focus is on demolition and renovations, whereas Christina concentrates on design.
